This series is called Unconventional and I don't know if you've ever noticed, I'm sure you have, how unconventional Jesus was, how he seemed to do things that no one expected him to do.

And he spits on the ground in the dust and the dirt and he forms muds with the spit and the dust and dirt.

And then he smears it on the blind man's eyes and tells him to go to the pool of Siloam to wash it off.

And the Pharisees and the religious people of their time were furious because he had worked and performed a miracle on the Sabbath, which was supposed to be a day of rest.

And so in his day, I'm sure his disciples were just around him all the time thinking, what on earth is Jesus going to do next? And we're all called to be like Jesus, aren't we, tonight? not be predictable, in some ways to be a little bit unconventional at times, to not follow the crowds, to not just go along with everyone else and try to blend in like everyone else.

I love the illustration that Judy used just now with the lights and the high vis.

She did just a brilliant job opening up the book of Titus to us and this theme of unconventional life.

Interestingly, I tried to have a look to see where else I could find Titus in the Bible.
