So number one is, I think that we need to create more ritual in our lives and treat things and honor moments that are truly threshold moments.
As you can imagine, at some points in my feelings about turning 50, I definitely imagined that I would be in a different place of my life at this stage.
I also initially hoped to have and envisaged that I would have a big gathering of friends for my 50th birthday.
And that was also not the case because I had chosen to come to Bali for the summer.
And so instead of ruminating and dwelling in what was not present in my life.
I decided to hold the mantra of what does it look like if we transcend expectations of what we think something should look like, and instead embrace the possibility of what is available.
