Remarks with Republicans (Eric Blakeley)

For those who may not know you yet, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what got you involved in local government?

Yes, my name is Eric Blakeley.

I'm a 27-year resident of McDonough County.

I'm not originally from here.

I'm originally from a town called Kilbourne, Illinois, which is about an hour east of here.

My wife and I moved here for work reasons.

We both found employment here and basically started with nothing.

And today we have a nice farm operation and a couple businesses in town.

So we're doing really well.

Macomb's been really, McDonough County's been a really good place for us.
