This is, in our Bibles, it may have, give thanks to the Lord, and it will have a capital, all capitals, Lord.
And it is, means the existing one.
The self-sufficient one who needs nothing outside of himself.
He needs no nourishment.
He needs no bread, no food, no water.
He needs no light.
He is light.
He needs no air to breathe.
Already we see that he's great.
He's mighty.
We see his majesty here.
And he is eternal.
Oh, we are not eternal.
We are like the grass of the field.
The wind blows over us.
We are here today, gone tomorrow, dried up, disappeared, remembered, no more.
Oh, but our Lord, our Lord is, he needs nothing from everyone.
But not only that, he needs nothing from everybody, yet everybody is dependent upon him.
He sustains everything.
He opens his hand and he satisfies the desire of every living creature.
Our God upholds the entire universe by the word of his power.
He's worthy.
He's the upholder, upholder of everything.
