These last several weeks, man, it's been some heavy content.
But this week and next, we're talking about the consequences that still happen in our life, oftentimes when we reap what we sow and when we don't learn from our mistakes.
And it's a challenge to us, a sobering reminder to us that when we have fallen to then seek to be men and women of truth, otherwise bitterness, revenge, and grief are all that we will reap.
And unfortunately, this is the way the story unfolds through chapter 20 here in 2 Samuel.
So today we're going to talk about how truth is needed with grace and how without the two, true reconciliation doesn't happen.
We're going to see here in 2 Samuel 14 verses 21 through 33, we're skipping around a little bit, how David reunites somewhat with David, with Absalom, but refuses to see him.
and how this only brings about greater consequences.
