Um, my role is I'm sort of, um, leading the, uh, the volunteers, so I- I'm a volunteer myself, but I arrange and lead the volunteer events that happen in Eryri.
So as we were just climbing up that staircase, I mean, we've got, you know, it was a pretty vertical climb.
I heard one of the women walking behind said, "Gosh, I wonder which legend put these stones here," [laughs] because I'm guessing it would've been one of you.

I can't take credit for the ones at the beginning here, 'cause they've been there for quite a while.

But, um, as we progress throughout this walk, yeah, we have, my team have had the privilege of putting them in.

There's, uh, alongside some volunteers as well, which has been a brilliant help.

So my name's Dan Goodwins, and I'm an Eryri ranger for the National Trust, um, specializing in upland, um, repair and maintenance.

And there's a team of four of us covering a, a large area all across the National Trust land in Eryri.
Is, is that your dream job, Dan? Is that the thing you just, or never even maybe thought existed and-

Well, on a, yeah, on a day like today, yeah, it doesn't really get much better.

The building a path with some volunteers on, on a day like today, yeah, it's an excuse to get out in Eryri in the mountains, isn't it?
And just take us through the mountain peaks we can see, and indeed the lake below.

So Pen yr Ole Wen, uh, Head of the White Light, and then we've got Pen Llithrig y Wrach behind us as well, Head of the Slippery Witch.
