But yeah, last video on this channel, uh, the Radio Rufus pages, was me telling youse about the cancer diagnosis.
This video is just me letting youse know that I had a halfway point scan, and it basically showed that the chemotherapy is working very well.
So yeah, I've had, like, four sessions of it so far, just past halfway, and I don't really want to go into too much detail because I don't really understand the medical fucking jargon that they described it to me in.
As much as it's been absolute fucking hell most days since I've started chemo, especially since, like, treatment three, there's probably been...
But at least this is sort of showing that it, it's gonna be worth it in the end because it is working.
Like, I have to do a full, apparently, an average of six months recovery after the chemo, so that'll be into, like, spring next year.
But we're obviously not gonna put a date on it because we don't know, and also there's no need for me to be putting the pressure on myself whenever we're fighting a fucking cancer.
But I wanted to make this video as well because a few of my friends and some of the fucking best comedians in the country have organized a charity gig to raise money for me because I haven't worked since, like, what, June.
Um, so just to kinda take the pressure off, uh, whenever I'm not gonna be earning money, which is so sound of them.
I appreciate every single one of them taking time out of their day to do a set, um, you know, to, to raise a few quid.
Tickets sold out after, like, the first or second day, so a lot of people were messaging asking if there was anywhere they could donate because obviously they, they didn't get a chance to get a ticket.
Um, so I'm gonna be dropping the GoFundMe that my friend Sleepy made in the description or in the bio.
Uh, obviously I'm a very proud man, and it kinda hurt my pride accepting help, especially at the start.
