And it makes, I know for me, like with chronic illness, it makes me feel like I'm valueless a lot.

Sure, absolutely.

And so it's easy to like, just like fall in that cycle of grief of like, well, I can't get out of bed today, so I don't hold any value,

you know?

Yeah.

Yeah, how do you hold that grief? Like, how do you process that?

I think, one, I imagine so many people feel that way.

And the first thing that came up for me was my sister and her words.

I remember like, I mean, there have been plenty of times in my life, even now where I haven't had what I needed or I didn't have enough money.

And I remember my sister telling me like, your worth cannot be tied to those things.

Like you're worthy regardless.

We have an innate worthiness.

So I think I, I deal with that grief by going to my altar and going to my ancestors and recognizing that white supremacy and capitalism and racism are really these darker entities and they got a strong presence, okay? So that means I have to have a strong presence.

You know what I'm saying? And I feel like I deal with grief by showing up.

And showing up doesn't always mean I'm getting out of bed.

You know, showing up means also I'm resting

from

myself.

I'm... depositing and i think like we're so precious and i always you have to i i really feel like you have to tell yourself how precious

you

are in this world um so that's what comes up for me um and some days we don't need to get out of bed

Your body needs restoration.
