So we spoke about the broccas that are made on good news and bad news, Chas V'shalom.

Let's talk a little bit about broccas that we don't pretty much make nowadays anymore.

But it's important to know that Chasal understood that whatever you take in through your eyes, there's supposed to be some reaction, right? There's no such thing as just seeing something and being impressed and shocked or awed by something, and nothing happens.

Something's happening inside you, and Chazal is telling you the appropriate reaction to have to these things.

And even though most of these things, we don't actually make a bracha with the name of Hashem nowadays, Baruch Atah Hashem, it still is appropriate to say Baruch Atah, skipping the same hashem and saying it and even if you don't actually say it because you don't remember it it is important to know what is the proper reaction to seeing these things and again whenever we're talking about sightseeing and things that impress you it's always of events or things that you didn't see within the past 30 days and therefore there's some shock value there's some reaction that you're supposed to have And these are the reactions that Chazal is telling you a Jew is supposed to act with the proper seeing, the proper sight, the proper heart, and the emotions that are supposed to follow.
