[PREVIEW] Insider Show: The Miazga fallout

Last night's postponement actually helped me not have to stay up incredibly late to finish our daughter's cake.

But Eric still teased me about it.

Well, just to be clear, it's not that you bake the cakes and decide to make the cakes.

It's that you decide to wait until the last possible minute to do the stuff that you feel you need to do.

For example...

It wouldn't have been incredibly late for you to bake this cake had FC Cincinnati's game actually been played.

It would have been incredibly early that you would have been baking that cake or making the rest of that cake.

Because you normally write your stories around 2 a.m. is when you generally publish?

Yes.

That's before delays.

So what would you have done?

Well, I was going to do it in the morning.

I was just going to be tired.

So I wasn't doing it at night.

So to be fair, I had a plan that I was going to get this done earlier.

But I was going to go get the few ingredients that I still needed for the cake at Walgreens right down the street.

And you wanted me to go to Kroger.

And then I had to do all this extra shopping.

So I did not get the cake started yesterday.

till much later and then it i accidentally did something i laughed out it turned out fine but the cake took longer to bake than it needed to and then i needed to go to the game so uh i did not have time to do the icing

All right, wait a minute.

Let's back up here for a moment because I feel as if I got thrown under the bus there.

You went to Kroger's because you realized that we needed food for our guests the next day.

And since you were going to a store anyway, Walgreens did not have the food that you were looking to give our guests.

But you could have gone to the store.
