i love that because i had a dysfunctional upbringing with violence in the home and to put me in that sort of stance i don't want to feel like that i've witnessed people putting their fists up ready to punch someone And I know the outcome to that or what that can lead to.

Of course I would defend myself and my family, but I don't want to go out with the intention of hurting people.

I want the intention of feeling empowered enough in myself that I can hold space to create change.

And then you have a language that you're saying stop because your hands don't stop.

I remember holding an event for young women when I was in an organization in schools.

And she said the energy behind you saying stop out loud can take you out of that freeze and bring the adrenaline down so you can think and you can act.

Because if you're placed in a situation that sends your adrenaline through the roof very quickly, you will freeze.

But when you really drop into your solar plexus, into your place of empowerment, you activate the heart chakra.
