Well, it is going to be evident from the story itself, but we all go through our work over the years and lots of things happen and we have indeed lots of stories to tell which are important, important for ourselves and then, uh, they can be relayed to anybody and everybody, particularly trainees who obviously haven't worked, uh, as long as I have.

I had a few actually that came to mind when I thought of what had made a huge impact on me and my work and my outlook.

So essentially it is, as the word indicates, transforming me, my form of work, my form of philosophy, my form of ethics.

In most cases, I imagine, and also from my experience, it is a clinical matter and it-- you alter your outlook on clinical psychiatry.

As we talk, we'll probably be able to raise other implications of, uh, this way of working.

Uh, look, uh, interrupt me any time, but I'll try to relate the story succinctly and then maybe we'll open up some of the topics that arise.
