Property With ADHD: From the Royal Navy to West End Developer | Stewart Thomson | PCN Podcast #46

Yeah, I've known you for a long time and I've really been impressed with your kind of journey to get to here.

I suppose my ADHD, if we flick to my ADHD thing, it kind of, my property journey kind of, I suppose it all stems from having ADHD.

So...

You think you've had it for years and...

Oh, yeah.

Yeah.

So, I...

I suppose I have been a massive advocate for men's mental health for a while and I kind of did a bit of coaching on it and did bits and pieces at the side and I also I had anxiety with depression because that's what I was diagnosed with so I was on antidepressants and I was seeing a counsellor and And she undiagnosed me.

She kind of went, you've got something.

But I really wasn't at that time wanting to work out the other stuff in my head.

So we just focused on kind of the therapy side of it.

And then it was a good friend of mine runs a clinic.

And we were talking about it.

And I kind of went, I think I probably want to get this sorted out.

And I did the whole assessment.

I'm on medication.

And I will never joke about ADHD.

I might make jokes about myself and my ADHD, but generally I'll never joke about it.

And I have to point out for the camera that when I met David for a coffee a couple of weeks ago, he used the words, I'm riddled with the ADHD when I was telling him my plan.

So he'll give you the sympathetic kind of view, but his is bad.

And then we had a score off.

You were a six, I'm a nine.

So I am properly riddled with it.

So the reason I got into property was...

ADHD kind of manifests in lots of different ways.
