Explore why your health plateau isn’t failure—it’s your body’s protective response. We break down the real reasons behind metabolic slowdowns and what it takes to get unstuck. The science behind…
Today, we are talking about health plateau.
If you're eating less, but not losing weight,
working out more, but gaining weight on a GLP-1 without proper lifestyle support, or feel tired all the time,
or doing anything healthy, but not receiving results, then this episode
is for you.
All right, before we get into this episode, let's take a minute to do my favorite thing and breathe.
I mean, I've been doing it every day all my life, trying to quit.
It's not happening.
So we actually need to do this before we dive in because everything we're talking about today, stress, cortisol, metabolic slowdown, it all starts right here in the nervous system.
So let's just not talk about it.
Let's practice it.
So you know what I'm going to ask you to do? Breathe in for four, hold for four, and blow out through your mouth.
Get everything out of those lungs.
I'm going to talk.
You're going to breathe.
So wherever you are, let this land in your body for just a moment.
Take in that slow breath through your nose.
Fill your lungs all the way to the bottom.
Hold for just a second.
Now release that slowly through your mouth, forcing it all the way out.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw unclench and let your hands soften.
Here's just what happened.
You felt it.
You activated your vagus nerve.
