This is how I've seen it for my life and in conversations with others that problems come when parents start trying to take a Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
And that's, that's me and my wife here.
Yep.
So talk to me about how that plays into what you just

And I believe like just from my experience, it's harder because most people already in a marriage already are taking a lot of either financial help, mostly financial help from their in-law.

So if I'm already taking a loan from my father-in-law, if he paid for my marriage, if he gave me a place to stay and things like that, that, basically everything has already been built into the system where he feels that he has a say because he paid for some of these things.

So he's coming because I see in other families or he paid, like he gave money for the down payment.

And then he gave 50% for the down payment of the house to help us out, to help a couple out.

But at the same time, we are telling him he has no say when he's suggesting how we need to take care of the lawn or he's suggesting that the roof needs... to be.

He's driving by and he's telling me like, hey, you know what? There's too much leaves in the gutter.

It's hard for in that situation where if I've already taken money from him, Or I always go to him getting loans.

So before we even having this conversation of boundaries, also before we do this, we also have to say, how much am I accepting from him in terms of help? help all the time, it might be hard to set a boundary.

So I need to be strong first, maybe work extra, have like my family like live and cleave and not just constantly be living in my father-in-law's basement.
