Indy VasquezGuestAndre AdamsHostWe're gonna share a presentation for you guys that are on YouTube and able to see the screen.
What sparked this thought as we were going through our weekly live calls, and why is gut health and metabolism so important for athletes?

Well, I mean, I feel like, uh, we oftentimes run into, um, athletes on our call that are having some sort of GI distress, and it's extremely common, as we know.

Um, and how do we correct it, right? So the big conversation today is going to be around gut microbiome diversity and how that affects your metabolism.

So, um, we're gonna chat a lot about, um, specific gut microbiome, um, bacteriums, how to feed them properly, how to keep the metabolism running hot.
And as you guys can imagine, right, when we're fueling performance, we're fueling physique, everything starts in the gut.
Right? If we're not able to digest our food and get those nutrients out, um, you know, break those further down into amino acids and vitamins and minerals, we're not gonna have a very effective prep and we're also not gonna feel very well.
And I think, to your point, Indy, one of the things that triggered that conversation, we were working through a case of SIBO with one of our athletes.
... you know, everything GI and gut-related, which I know is one of your favorite topics.
But, you know, as we dive in here, guys, just keep in mind, metabolism is not just calories and muscle, that a lot of this stuff really does start in the gut.
