And so it kind of goes back to like, or our kids necessarily don't have to wait to lead.
Right.
Like there's opportunities for them to lead like every day.
But I feel like we, a lot of parents more than ever.
And I think it's, I think it's a book that every parent should read if they haven't is anxious generation.
Because it not only explains like the generation that we're raising, but also like the, it can help put together someone like the parenting behind it as well.
Right.
Yeah.
because, you know, we see a lot of, you know, gentle parenting, which isn't a bad thing.
It has its perks.
We see a lot of hovering and we've seen a lot of just because we've been forced to with how the world's changed since COVID, a lot of just like sheltering, right? Not a lot of social interaction.
And so I wouldn't even say it's just an underestimation of our kids, but it's also just like, an under like utilization or an under use of getting them the reps and like the practice into to lead or to be able to learn that responsibility you know what I mean
I mean, social media and instantaneous news has impacted parents significantly, too.
I mean, we know way more about all the horrible things that happen out there in the world.
And statistically, you know, they're pretty small that they're going to happen to us or our kids, but we're bombarded with them.
But I think within that construct, Jay, there's a shift, just a little shift we can make that I think we can still do in a safe way for our kids that will empower them and teach them how to be a leader.
It's like, you know, if they come home from school, Just say, hey, who, you know, who was it who led today? Who set the tone? You know, who set the tone? Let the kids see that there are people in their lives who set the tone.
And guess what? When they reflect on that and you talk about that with them, then you can also talk about the times that your kid sets the tone or the dad sets the tone.
