Let's talk about the executive director position.
You've been in this position for a few months already.
In fact, we're recording this episode a few days before it gets released.
Tell us a little bit about what the first few months on the job have been like.
I would say convocation from that lens was something that I was not expecting, even in its simplest form.
Something that I did not anticipate was the level of undergraduate feedback on how to make us better.
When I was on the Grand Council, it was more of the, hey, they're part of the board, like, more than idolization and just wanting to get to know you and how do you become a great and distinguished alumni versus when you're the executive director it's a lot more hey this is where i need help help sigma pi get better have you thought about improving things in this area of the business and it's like Okay, let me continue to take notes.
And it allowed me to really... get this grand council going in a very specific direction knowing that the undergrads are engaged and so my one call to action if the undergrads get anything from this conversation is reach out to me executive director at sigmapi.org i would love to absolutely hear from you guys and your experience and how things are going and so From an undergraduate experience, there's a number of things that you can expect from us that I know Joe is going to get into here in a little bit.
And so how do we leverage that? And then how do we also make sure that becomes a part of the undergraduate and graduate experience as well?
