This week, Daniel, we have, uh, city council is holding its regular meeting on Thursday, October 8th at 6:00 PM in council chambers.
The agenda includes a discussion, consideration, and possible action on a development agreement to move forward with annexation and development for what's now Taylor Technology Campus, formerly known as Project Mustang.
If you saw our news releases this past week and on, on social media, the city's been negotiating this agreement with the developers to ensure that the project was subject to regulatory standards on noise, water, setbacks, and community benefits that the community's been asking for.
Yeah, personally, I'm, I'm glad to see it, uh, come back to council, 'cause I was a little nervous, um, you know, living on that side of town, that, uh, we were gonna get this project and it wasn't gonna be annexed or regulated by the city, and so, um-
... you know, I know there's a lot of opinions out there, uh, one way or the other, but, uh, for those folks who want to attend, you can obviously come to the council meeting.
If you come, uh, 15 minutes beforehand, you can fill out a speaker f- speaker form and, and, and share your thoughts and opinions with the council.
Um, and then if you, if you'd like to just see how it goes, you can also watch online, uh, taylortx.gov, and, uh, if you go under, uh, city council meeting, click, click on the Watch Live, you'll be, uh, redirected to our page where you can watch the meeting live.
