Of course, this Thursday, our city council will hold its regular meeting September 24th at 6 p.m. in council chambers.

The agenda includes public hearings on ordinances, designating tax abatement reinvestment zone number 12 for iMarket, and adopting update 4 to the Envision Taylor Comprehensive Plan.

It also includes discussion, consideration, and possible action on awarding the bid for the MLK Sidewalk project, which is something that's been a long time coming.

And to wrap up the whole thing, on Friday night from 6 until 8, we're having a live band, Giddy Up Goes, coming to play a front porch party.

But before that, Gumi Gonzalez is coming to give a lecture on the Mexican-American history of Taylor.
