But guys, diving into the video, obviously there is a lot to look at on the front of Nikola Jokic.
Jokic has been very clear he wants to stick around in Denver, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he will under all circumstances, as John Hollinger did warn the NBA about Nikola Jokic and the truth behind his future in Denver or, well, the lack thereof one.
[swoosh] John Hollinger said there is justifiable paranoia in the Mile High City, as the shortcomings of the rest of the roster may cause Jokic's eyes to wander.
We even heard John Hollinger, an NBA insider, come out here and say this, but now we are.
Instead of just hearing people say, which obviously we're gonna hear people say, "Oh, well, the Nuggets ever since winning the 2023 championship, they lost to the Timberwolves in, in seven games, and then they lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games.
And there was an injury to Aaron Gordon, who's Mr. Nugget, who obviously is one of the biggest pieces of that 2023 championship team.
Oh, then the next year they got beat by the Timberwolves again, except this time it was in the first round.
Once again, Aaron Gordon was injured and Jamal Murray hasn't been playing well in the playoffs since 2023.
And oh my, what if he requests a trade?" Well, now there's a world where Jokic does according to an NBA insider, and the Nuggets, their success matters more than ever now.
And with only a 4% chance to win the 2027 NBA Finals, it's fair to assume that Jokic at the very least is going to explore the idea of what his career would look like if he did ultimately request that trade.
So it's imperative the Nuggets swing above their punching weight right now and go out there and show they can win this championship.
