We're seeing benefits from cardiovascular standpoints, from kidney standpoints, hepatic steatosis, sleep apnea.
And so I had a colleague recently tell me, I heard of somebody who's prescribing the GLP-1s to non-diabetics.

correct and the glp-1s actually are branded so the same generic is branded as both for diabetes and then also from a weight loss or obesity standpoint so it is one fda approved and two if you're not comfortable with them and for non-diabetic patients you've got to learn right how to prescribe them well how to what the risks and benefits are and how to educate your patients because at the end of the day our job is to provide evidence-based care and patient-centered care to patients so If the patient wants something that's not going to actually cause them harm or have a discussion, we need to be equipped to do that and prescribe it well and not let our personal bias get involved in that.
And patients, if they come to you and they are overweight and want to lose weight, they're looking for a GLP-1.
If they don't get it from you, they could get it online for somewhere that might not be as reputable.

They can get it online where people necessarily aren't monitoring what's going on and they're just prescribing medications and there's no follow-up.
