Bob and Stuff

Uh-

Uh-For once in my life, I'm excited about, uh, about the topic on this show.

[laughs] Because, uh, usual- I'm the, I'm the old, I'm the old guy.

I'm the retired guy.

I don't do it anymore, so usually I'm kind of sitting back and, and reacting to things rather than, uh, actually contributing.

Uh, that's a lie, but oh well.

Okay.

Uh, anyway, the point is, uh, four months ago, just over, uh, I became a granddad, and um, it's a boy, and uh, when you become a granddad, at least in my case, you start thinking about, uh, you know, raising the kid.

You're gonna do such a great job and so on.

Yeah.

Oh, boy.

Yeah.

And um, so I'm thinking, I, I know, I...

A great idea.

I'll learn some magic tricks.

And so every time I see the kid, I'll give him a new magic trick, and he'll be surprised, and, and blah, blah, blah, and we'll do that every time we meet, and it'll be a, a wholesome thing for us to do together.

But then I thought, oh, wait a sec, why don't every time I greet the kid, I come up to him and I go...

This is when he's, like, three or four years old or whatever.

I go, "Oh, no, look out, my arm, my arm's coming down.

Don't let me hit you on the head." And, and he'll bring his arm up, and that'll be the fundamentals of a block.

And then every time I meet him, we'll do something else to build on that, and over the months and over the years, uh, af- when he turns 18, he'll be a wonderful martial artist, uh, practicing a style that we invent together, uh, since he was a baby.

Okay, go.

Go what?

Maybe how would you teach-

What would you teach the kid, and how? [laughs]
