ENCORE | Elliot Easton 2018

This was done in 2018, one month after The Cars were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Or maybe it was just a week later, I can't remember.

And of course, we're talking about their lead guitar player, Elliot Easton.

And, uh, he's just a great guy, great hang, and, uh, a friend to all guitar players.

If you see him and you know you've met him before, he's always good to chat and say hello and give you a what's up, talk some guitar.

And, uh, last time I saw him was on one of those cruise ships with all the bands.

He was playing in The Immediate Family, filling in for Waddy Wachtel, who was on r- on the road, as he often is, with Stevie Nicks at the time.

And, uh, yeah, I've been just running around.

And how often do you guys go out and record a full band in the studio? We went for one day to the famous Plant in Sausalito.
