Brandy Jeter-FloresGuestSamHostOkay, Brandy, thank you so much for joining me on the Noon Podcast.
I'm so excited to have you on today.
You are a plethora of stories, my friend.
So let's get an intro and then let's get started.

My name is Brandy Jeter-Flores and I am a registered nurse in the adult emergency department at UNMH.

I also am a caregiver to two of my family members who I manage for a variety of things and run a um in essence a group home uh where they live um and some other family members who don't necessarily need my help but are also living there
well that's crazy you live quite the lifestyle you're so busy especially with three kids in sports that's pretty wild is nursing something you've always wanted to do

And if I told you the sky was purple, I probably could give you an argument as to why then you would doubt yourself and think that the sky was purple.

I also wanted to be able to help children out of bad home life situations like the one I found myself in as a child.

And I thought being a lawyer, I could make a difference and help people.

It wasn't until later in life that I decided that nursing is what I wanted to do.
