Nick Reed 10.14.26 - Mamdani Moves to Ban Horse Carriage Industry

Mamdani in New York has reached a deal with New York City Council leaders to ban horse carriage industry, one of the symbols of New York City.

And it really truly is one of the symbols of New York City.

There are certain visuals that are synonymous with what people would consider the beauty of New York City.

New York City, there's a lot of socialism, particularly under the, well, the last several administrations, that are symbols of ugliness.

They are symbols of divisiveness.

They're symbols of danger.

But there are still some symbols of beauty that are bragging points, if you will, of New York City.

The ice skating rink, Rockefeller Center.

There's some of these iconic visuals and experiences that if people come to New York City for the very first time, it's a thing they want to do because they just really consider it to be one of the beautiful parts of New York City.

So it makes sense that socialism is leading the charge to eliminate that out of New York City.

Socialism makes things ugly.

Even infrastructure.

And a lot of it is former – it's holdover from Soviet Union.

In fact, that's part of her theme is the fact that despite the fall of the Soviet Union, still there's so much Soviet stuff around.

And you just look at the apartment buildings.

You look at the buildings in general.

Very drab.

The beauty taken out of it.

And that's because humanity's taken out of it.

When people are not chained down by government.
