A big part of what we do as journalists is we go to the meetings that maybe most people don't have time to go to.
We cover topics that are really complicated, and we break it down in a way that is digestible.
People are super interested in what's happening, but a lot of times we are so busy, like maybe you're raising kids, you're working a full-time job.
Not everyone has, like, all this time to also keep tabs on what their local government officials are doing.
So I think, like, a big part of that necessity just stems from, you know, being there when other people can't and being able to write it in a way that, like, 20 more people can understand what's going on.
