We talked to our outgoing and incoming board presidents about the New England's North Star.

You can go back and listen to that episode, or you can go to our website and read about it, listen to it there.

One of the pillars, you know what, I should probably read the North Star so people go, what if we don't know what you're talking about? It is the partner for all camps in New England, a network where professionals belong and every camp finds their path to thrive.

So that is going to be guiding our work at ACA New England for the foreseeable future.

And now I'm mixing up my metaphors, pillars being an architectural term and North Stars astrological.

There are three areas or three focus or foci that we're gonna be honing in on to deliver on our work while following the North Star.

And we are gonna be focusing on the whole camp career, the camp professional from start to finish.

We're gonna be bringing people on the show to tell their stories and how they got to where they are.

Recently, I was on some camp tours and I was talking to a gentleman from the southeast about his camp story and kind of knowing that we were going to be doing this type of content this year.

I said, all right, how did you get to where you are? And he said, well, it was 1987.

He said, we did that for a couple summers, bought it, and that was 40 years ago.

And I just started dying laughing because I guarantee you, had I talked to him 40 years ago, it wouldn't have been that simple.
