I know that sounds kind of weird because, you know, LinkedIn at one point was for job seekers, right? It was for people looking for a job.

But I think people don't realize and recognize that LinkedIn content right now is the driver of so many things on the platform that we just forget it and we just push it to the wayside.

And what I'll tell you is If you are not thinking about the goal of each specific piece of content that you create on LinkedIn, whether it's a text post, an image text post, a poll, a newsletter, a video, you need to think about, okay, what is my goal of this post? Like, what is the job of this post? What do I want to happen? And your content should do one of three things.

Your piece of content, the number one job that it could have is to grow your expertise.

So much like a video training or a newsletter, when you take like a deep dive into you're looking to really put yourself in that spotlight of being that go-to person.

So look back at any of the pieces of content that you recently created on LinkedIn and really ask yourself and read through and say, well, what was the job of this post? And if you're looking to showcase your expertise and you want to grow your expertise on LinkedIn, then you need to showcase that in that piece of content.

Put yourself in the shoes of that ideal client and where they are now, which is maybe where you were about five or six years ago until you figured out X and here's where you are in Y.

So the fact of the matter is that when you can relate yourself to your audience through your content, again, whether it's a video, a poll, a newsletter, a text post, an image text post, a carousel post, an infographic, when you can relate yourself to your audience, that's what allows you to build trust.

So the fact of the matter is, is that you could sell, you know, if you're if you're listening or watching and you're a coach, a consultant, a service professional, you can openly sell on LinkedIn without ever selling.

And the way that you do that is through your content, but utilizing that content to showcase your skill set.

you can make a solution-oriented post for a common problem that your ideal client has.
