Send us Fan Mail Amazon is testing AI-generated main image backgrounds, and sellers may not even know their images are changing. For years, Amazon…

we have a bit of news in the amazon front because amazon as always is doing a do as we say not as we do and this is coming in the form of main images one of the major things that my amazon guy here we have talked about for ages is doing a main image ctr hack and optimizing your main image to try and increase click-through rate Amazon has always pushed back saying, no, you have to have just your own products right there on a plain stark white background.

Basically, if you have a product that already has a well optimized main image like this one, then Amazon's not going to do it or any of these.

But you can see here that some of these Amazon is essentially creating the actual background.

So they are showing the allure winner, which is each year, thousands of products are tested by allure beauty.

But what we have seen and what many people are claiming so far is that essentially Amazon is doing this without actually asking anyone.

And not every single product has to have have that stark white background anymore.

We actually saw if we can go back here, one of the ones that I saw here was a St Ives as well.

They also are having this happen to them with this non, I guess, white background.

But then there are also some other products I have seen where it's an actual entire image.

It's not even the plain white background, but we're seeing this across pretty much the entire beauty category right now where Amazon is testing out.

They have also pushed against the idea of, you know, adding anything into your image.

And they always gave a choice beforehand when it came to images and any changes on your product.
