But when you think about, like, the, the kinetics of all that and how that's changed over time, and I would tell you that I have become a believer in, one, organized retail crime exists.
Scott GlennGUEST
14:39
It's become more lucrative.
Karen OwenGUEST
3:30
Oh, I think there's a few, particularly linked to food, that obviously we're spending most of our time on.
Karen OwenGUEST
3:37
And that is when you look at Omnichannel.
Karen OwenGUEST
3:40
So, you know, when we were growing up, it was all about the store.
Karen OwenGUEST
3:44
Nowadays, particularly Gen Z and younger singletons, when it comes to food, their inspiration is coming much more from quick service retail outlets.

So I think the customer is going to continue to challenge the developer to give them more than just a lineup of commodity goods And so I do think, and, you know, technology will become more and more integrated.
Terry MontesiGUEST
39:32
Things will be, you know, Omnichannel has, you know, at first e-commerce scared the heck out of people out of the retail business.
Terry MontesiGUEST
39:40
And so we have this retail apocalypse talk, you know, seven to seven, eight, nine years ago, six to 10 years ago.
Terry MontesiGUEST
39:50
Well, we now, That went away, and we now know that brick and mortar is a have-to-have for profitable retailers.
Terry MontesiGUEST
39:57
And so Omnichannel, a really great retailer, has e-commerce, and they have brick and mortar, and they have all the things, the connective tissue, you know, BOPUS, et cetera, curbside pickup.
Terry MontesiGUEST
40:11
So I think the centers will be more heavy on placemaking, and they'll be more heavy on the things that are spawned by people e-commerce and brick and mortar integration.
Terry MontesiGUEST
40:24

It's interesting to see those companies saying like, yeah, we are the AI native version of AR.
Alex LouisyGUEST
42:44
that's great for them you know i'm just very happy that that's because that's a great marketing uh wedge and to be honest i've seen a lot of cfos just coming to us and say i need to buy something that does ai and they don't even know what ai serve but they want to buy some hair i'm very happy as well that we're getting out of this wave now but the reality is that The FRM positioning that we have, this financial relationship management, and the fact that we want to provide a collaborative solution, the fact that we want to be very mindful of the context, bring the right people at the right time with the right information, omnichannel, the fact that we want to bring payments in the mix, that it's an overall experience.
Alex LouisyGUEST
43:23
AI is not really changing this.
Alex LouisyGUEST
43:25
