We are starting with Brad Pitt because he's officially returning to star in the long-gestating sequel to 2013's global zombie action film World War Z.

Do you remember that film? Yeah, so the other exciting thing about it is they've got a really good director signed up for it now, which is Edward Berger, who people will know did All Quiet on the Western Front and Conclave, and actually has a movie coming with Pitt as well called The Riders for A24, which wrapped earlier this year.

So, We don't know too many plot specifics about the sequel, but it'll presumably use material from Max Brooks bestselling 2006 novel upon which the first was loosely based.

It pulled in over 540 million to become the sort of highest grossing zombie film of all time.

Did have a few production issues when it shot, but it did a reshoot on its third act.

There was talk of a sequel not too long ago, like not long after it was made.

David Fincher was considering doing it, but it got shelved due to budgetary concerns.

Pitt is currently out promoting David Ayer's survival thriller that he's in, Heart of the Beast, which will be out next week.

And he's also speaking about David Fincher's The Further Misadventures of Cliff Booth, which will be hitting cinemas in November, which he also stars in.

Probably a surprise to people that he didn't direct the sequel that's coming, which is called The Further Misadventures of Cliff Booth.

But the reason Tarantino didn't want to do it is that he has written a novel and Harper is going to be publishing it called The Adventures of Cliff Booth, which comes out on December 8th.
