I, while I was in law school, I went in Indianapolis and I clerked at us customs.

Um, at the time customs was part of the treasury department before this was before Homeland security and they have their national finance centers there in Indianapolis.

And then when I was graduating law school, going through, you know, interviews with firms, um one of the i saw scopolitis was a transportation firm i thought well i might as well throw my hat in there i got a little bit of background and kind of rest is history right and it's been um a fun ride man i mean i don't think anybody goes to law school thinking i want to do trucking law you know but um as you know it's just it's a fun industry to be in you know it's it's different every day and it's always there's always something new so um been very fortunate it's been a lot of fun

My work has completely transitioned almost to non-asset brokerage and forwarders, etc.

When I started with the firm, it was when a lot of the large carriers were spinning off brokerages, frankly.

And so the partners at the time were engrossed in representing the motor carriers.

So almost entirely non-asset brokerage, international forwarding, et cetera, is really all I do.

I mean, I remember the first time walking into a brokerage and just even then being floored at how you guys operate.

And now with the technology and the integrations that are available and It moved from, even in my time, from being so manual to so automated.

And it's really amazing what you guys are able to do now, as opposed to just focus on dry van, full truckload.
