[laughs] Today we'll be discussing episode five of season three of Silo, entitled Memory, written by Catherine D. Savino and directed by Eric Avellino.

As usual, I'll begin with a brief synopsis, and then we'll get on to the discussion, although this recap isn't really all that brief, because this was a jam-packed episode.

The, the, the poison incinerator room, where Juliette is locked in with Bernard, and they're both being burned alive.

Knox and Shirley want to rescue Juliette, and they wanna open the door, but Billings doesn't want the poison to be released into the silo.

Uh, once the fire stops, Knox tells Billings to evacuate the cafeteria, 'cause he's pulling out an unconscious Juliette.

So this flashback is Bernard's recounting of events to Juliette as they sit in George's lair in the down deep.

Now we're in Sims' flashback, and he describes how Camille was chosen to be the new head of IT, and he was kicked out of the vault with his son.

He took the boy back home and watched over him with a gun at the ready in case the rebels came after them.

Camille comes home, and she reveals that she can't reveal anything, except that, uh, while the rebellion is over, the silo is still under threat.

The threats are Lukas, Bernard, and Juliette, and they all need to be eliminated, and that's a job for Sims.

Both Bernard and Juliette are currently alive, but it's touch and go, especially for Bernard, who's hanging on by a thread.

A, uh, a doctor advises that if they die, they shouldn't be buried, um, because that would risk poison contamination in the soil.
