Mohammed EnayatGuestAdrienneHostOllieHostSammyHostToday, I'm joined by Dr. Eniat.
Dr. Eniat is a GP and founder of Human, a physician-led longevity and personalized medicine clinic in London.
Welcome to the show.

I know it's taken me some time to be here, but I'm excited for our conversation today.
Yeah, it's nice to see you again because I've been into the clinic and it must be over a year ago when I came in and met you and had a few treatments there.
And yeah, it was really exciting actually to kind of come in.
I feel like it was at the start of what has become the longevity boom here in London.
And I'm sure we'll touch on that and lots of other things as well today.
But I guess before we dive into all of my questions about wellness, longevity, peptides, all that good stuff.
I'd really like to start with a little bit more about your journey, because I know that you've been at the forefront of preventative and regenerative medicine for many years, long before longevity, as I said, you know, took off and became a very popular buzzword in wellness.
So what drew you to this field and how do you believe it represents the future of healthcare?

Ultimately, to help people overcome their diseases or their health woes, to give them an improved quality of life, to give them more fulfillment on their day to day.

And what I came across in practicing medicine as a GP, I've been a GP now for 15 years, was that we don't have enough of the answers.

And we don't have enough of the tools to be able to get to the root causes of what makes people sick sometimes.

And so as I kind of followed my curiosity around how I could develop the tools to help my patients, I came to study different approaches from around the world About 11 years ago, I studied functional medicine, which is this approach also known as root cause medicine coming out of the US.

And it just gave us more richer data sets to understand how to look at a problem and to come up with potential solutions that were based around nutrition, supplements, lifestyle.

So as I came across this, I didn't really believe that it would work, to be honest.
