And that's what we're talking about today, is what does the, what's the modern definition of being a top producer? Like, I'll just come out and say it.
Like, what does that mean? Because how it used to look and how we used to think of a top producer has completely evolved and/or should be evolving.
I actually looked up the definition of modern, because it just helps to bring clarity to the point of this, but the definition of modern generally refers to anything relating to the present or recent times, as opposed to the remote or classical past.
So what do you think of when you would think of, like, top producer in, like, the traditional way? It's like the olden-
To be honest, when I got my license and I would see the top producers, I alwa- there was, like, this divide where I was like, "Well, I don't want that life."
And you get into real estate to build your own business, to make as much money as you want, right? Like, there's no cap on how much money you can make.
And I would look at them in my city and be like, "Well, I don't want, I don't want their life.
when you think about it, like, the top producers typically grew their business quite a long time ago.
But I would think, like, "Well, why would I work that hard to never be able to have a Saturday free, or to never be able to just get referrals?" Like, it's like they were working harder, not smarter, was, like, the vision that I got, or, like, lots of cold leads.
Lot, I mean, I'm sure there were lots of referrals too, but the way of how they grew their business was just not something I wanted to sign up for.
I always will say, um, like, whatever you're consistent with, you'll get results.
I mean, if you want to door-knock every single day, you'll probably drum up some business for yourself, and if you wanted to cold call every single day, you'll probably drum up some business for yourself.
