The movie James Corden never wanted you to see! The movie with a title so cheeky it's been changed over the years! It's the 2009 horror-comedy Lesbian Vampire Killers, in which two down-on-their-luck Londoners take a trip to the remote village of Cragwich and find themselves in the middle of a sapphic vampire apocalypse. James Corden and Mathew Horne were paired as the leads off the success of their popular BBC series Gavin and Stacy. The film attempted to put Hammer Horror, Edgar Wright-like visual flair, frat humor, and a bevy of babes in a blender and pour out a cult classic. Art and Erik hop in the VW bus and head for The Baron's Rest pub to investigate this forgotten campy oddity that promises a lot in its title. The Midnight Cinema this week will be populated by vengeful Vicars, Swedish coeds and ominous barkeeps. Oh, and vampire women of course.
