Called to Courage

When I started reading that, I was like, the first thing that I related to is what we go through right now in life.

We go through this every single day.

We might not live in caves like they did.

We might not live in dens.

We might not live in those strongholds that they lived in.

I was looking that up, and they said that the den was a place where they either had a light And they could, while they were in the mountains, they had a light.

And they could look to see when the enemy was coming.

And then those that were in the cave, of course, you know, only the entrance you could see out.

And then the strongholds is a place of palace for those individuals.

It was more constructed of wood and kind of shaded and stuff.

So that's how they lived.

That's how they made their living.

But as I was reading this, it says that... that the Lord delivered them basically to the medium for seven years.

So, you know, I'm simple.

I'm a simple person.

I'll start thinking, okay, if seven years...

They've been under these, I call them the ites, because all these ites.

They're under the ites, and they're in control.

And the Israelites, you know, they were, they got to that position because they weren't being obedient to God.

They were basically, had idols.

They were worshiping Baal.

and they were doing offerings to Baal.

That seems like they've been doing that for years.

They go, they praise God, they worship God, they follow God, and then they fall, and then they follow other gods, and then they go back, back and forth, back and forth.

So that's what reminded me of today.
