A guided meditation to feel connected, open the heart and remember you're not alone. Part 2 of the Love, Connection & Transcendence series, exploring "positivity resonance", the science of shared love…
Raphael ReiterHost
So last time, on last meditation, we talked about love as a micro moment of warmth and connection.

Second, your bodies start to sync, your gestures, your expressions, even your biochemistry.

And third is a mutual care, a small impulse to look after each other's well-being.

What I find beautiful, among other things, is that we usually talk about emotions as if they belong to someone.

But in a moment of positivity resonance, the love doesn't belong to you or to the other person.

Your warmth draws out theirs, and theirs draws out yours, back and forth, until the moment passes.

She writes that in those moments, you each become a little, a reflection and an extension of the other.

Before, you were each doing your own thing, feeling your own feelings, following your own plans, your own life.

Think of the last time you laughed so hard with someone that neither of you could stop.

I think this is a big part of why meditating with other people feels different.
