Why They Dislike Combi Boilers0:30 – 3:09

0:30

A couple calls lately.

0:31

One of them was from another plumber who I met years ago.

0:34

Nice guy.

0:35

He might listen to the podcast.

0:36

I'm not going to throw him under the bus or anything like that.

0:38

That's not what this is about.

0:39

And then a couple of homeowners calling me and subject matter, same thing, both kind of all the way around.

0:47

Kombi boilers.

0:48

Okay.

0:50

I don't know if I've said it enough on this podcast and then maybe it doesn't really matter to other people, but.

0:56

Um, I hate combi boilers.

0:58

I'm going to just say, I'm going to kind of put a blanket statement on that.

1:02

And here's why we're getting hate mail coming, hate mail incoming.

1:07

Combi boilers are common all over the world.

1:10

Uh, the UK, I think invented them for all I know and all of our good buddies.

1:15

And we have a lot of them over in the UK and Europe for that matter.

1:19

Um, They're installing combi boilers regularly.

1:22

It's just like basically every residence has some sort of hot water heat, probably has a combi boiler.

1:28

They make a lot of sense.

1:29

It's kind of a two-in-one product.

1:30

Well, it's not kind of.

1:31

It is a two-in-one product.

1:32

They give you heat and hot water, one appliance, that kind of thing.

1:36

The problem with combi boilers for me is this.
