So today we are exploring a very interesting conversation, which is a conversation that we actually had briefly in person when you visited Dublin.

So I'm just going to start with maybe personal issues that could affect your performance in business, which could be personal stress, relationships, money worries, rejection, family issues, burnout, or how much you should put down with all of that.

So maybe if we could start there, do you have any thoughts maybe on that subject in general?

Although I do think I had quite a long period of fairly balanced kind of, you know, I was living in Ireland for the last 14 years before I moved to Bristol.

It was actually longer than 14 years, but 14 years in the same house and running a business and it was quite steady.

And then I had a lot more turmoil going on in my life since 2024, moving country, closing a business, you know, big, big life changes that those kind of life changes, you know, they tend to bring a lot of ups and downs with them or, you know, you, you know, I have one business mentor who, who says like in his own kind of growth he recognizes that like he would have a kind of a meltdown point before a breakthrough like each time like in his personal life like something would happen and he would be like my god how am i going to deal with this how am i going to handle this and then that would then lead to more growth and more breakthroughs after that so i'm looking at my last couple years yeah maybe i'll look back and think that too eventually but you know it is hard the subject of what we're talking about today is like how to handle those things how to keep going through them you know the personal issues are gonna are gonna happen from time to time for everybody and i think if you have a secure nine to five job That's one thing that you don't really have to worry about.

If things are really bad, maybe you take some time off the job because you're, you know, if you need mental health days or you're just physically unwell, then you can just take some time off and then you go back to your job.

It's still there after, which it's not the case when you're running, when you're growing a business and you're at the stage where it still totally relies on you It's your music business or it's another kind of business, whatever kind of business it is.

And when you're going to business, that's not great for your business, you know, might be what you need, but it's not great for your business.

So how, how can we deal with that? That's where we're going to talk about that today.

Some people think that when those things happen, as you mentioned that your mentor told you that every time he has to go through a big breakthrough, there's like some setback, a big setback that will happen before that breakthrough happens.

Some people might want to rush that period so that it can go away very quickly.

What do you say about that? Because it seems like it has to be part of your business journey.
