Now, whether you have an actual guru or not, whether you're working right now with a spiritual teacher who is in a body or not, you can still honor this beautiful tradition and receive the blessings through gratitude.
I'm gonna be taking you through a really lovely gratitude meditation to help you connect in with this beautiful inner teacher that we have.
So if you learned math when you were in the second grade, then that person, that math teacher, was a guru to you on that level.
If you took piano lessons at any point in your life, then that person was a guru to you as well.
And for me, when I was living in the spiritual community, my focus was on Paramahansa Yogananda and his beautiful teachings, but, but when I was there, he wasn't in the body.
But since that time, and I've worked with other teachers as well, what I've learned is, is that the guru really is within you.
So as much as it's lovely to have gurus that are in a body outside of us, everybody has that guru within.
So I want you to take a moment, and I want you to think about all the spiritual teachers that you've had, all the spiritual mentors that you've had.
Maybe you learned how to pray the rosary from your grandmother, or maybe somebody taught you how to, um, breathe and meditate after a yoga class.
Or maybe you learned how to connect with nature and to commune with nature as, you know, part of your heritage.
You may know many, many spiritual teachers on your path, and we wanna include all of them because they are all manifestations of the one true guru who lives within you.
So let's take a few, let's take a few deep breaths together, get ourselves grounded and centered.
And as we're doing this, we're gonna get ourselves ready to do this beautiful meditation.
