“EVEN CLOSER THAN WE KNOW!” - Part 2 (The Watchman’s Cry!)

And so we pick up with number nine, perilous times and abandonment of truth, 2 Timothy and chapter 3 and Romans chapter 1.

But realize this, that in the last days perilous times will come For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving and unforgiving, slanderers without self-control.

2 Timothy 3, 1-5 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions, for even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lusts for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind to do those things which are not fitting, being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, and full of envy, murder, strife, and deceit, and evil-mindedness.

They are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, and boasters, inventors of evil things." disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, and unmerciful, who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

Romans 1, 26-32.

Paul described a culture marked by narcissism, disobedience, ingratitude, perversity, and hostility toward God because of his divine nature.

Romans chapter 1 outlines a judicial abandonment where truth is suppressed, not merely rejected, and God gives them over to a debased mind fit only for destruction.

The result is confusion presented as enlightenment and rebellion framed as virtue.

This condition is societal, not merely individual.
