And it's... how how are from our nose down how that ages yes and is that it's very similar i guess all over you you you're still losing volume and your muscles are still well you know we've got

that gravity thing yeah that because you know if we devolumize if we devolumize you know In the mid face and the upper face, what happens to the tissues down below is they sort of just deflate and they sag because we don't have things supporting them.

And I can't tell you how many people... come in and say, I, you know, I've never smoked ever a day in my life.

And I have these horrible smokers lines or just, you know, the vertical lines around the mouth and, you know, what's going on.

And, you know, really it's, it's, it's a three prong, um, answer well three three components that cause this and one of its muscle movement so we have this circular muscle around the mouth called the orbicularis oris and you know if when you purse your lips you know um when you're going to whistle when you do that you're contracting that muscle and it's going to sort of close your mouth but it's also going to create those little lines and And that's why people say, oh, well, if you're a smoker, yes, the bad effects of nicotine and everything else, the carcinogens in the cigarettes, but it's that constant pursing of the lips that every time you move and do that, you are creasing that skin.

If you drink from a straw all the time, which we were always told, oh, do that.

If you do that all the time, again, you're just constantly pursing your lips and increasing that.

And some people, I watch people talk during my evaluation and then the consult, and I watch their mouth.

You don't sit there saying, okay, purse your lips, purse your lips, but people, they just do.

And I can see, well, that's one of the reasons why you have a lot of those vertical lines is because you use that muscle all the time.

And the second component of it is the skin, because when you are, you know, contracting the muscle, you're pursing, you're creasing the skin and just, you just do that thousands and thousands of times a day over time, as we, you know, lose collagen, you're going to get those creases.

And also we lose volume around the area too, which then enhances the skin laxity and then the creases.

So it all builds on each other, all of those things, volume loss, it's skin changes and muscles, muscle movement.

And it's... how how are from our nose down how that ages yes and is that it's very similar i guess all over you you you're still losing volume and your muscles are still well you know we've got
