Restylane

Mm-hmm.

Uh, Dysport is made by, um- Galderma, it is the company that also makes Restylane.

And the reason that I like it is that it has a very long duration of action compared to brand name Botox.

Mm-hmm.

There was like a recent perfect perspective study, looking at patients who had experienced GLP one induced weight loss and had facial changes that bothered them.

The study showed that combining Restylane Lift or Restylane Volume with Sculptra PLA improved not only their facial contour, but also improved their skin quality, their skin hydration, their radiance, and it had high levels of patient satisfaction.

I think this really represents really an important shift on how we approach these patients.

It's not about choosing one treatment over another, but it's kind of understanding and assessing what the underlying issue is and selecting the right combination of treatments to restore that facial support, replenish loss volume, and improve skin quality in the most natural way possible.

You mentioned Restylane Lift.

Could you just clarify for our listeners what that is exactly and where

that fits into the treatment plan? Yeah, for sure.

What are some of the ones that you want to use in that area? And what are some of the ones you would want to avoid?

There is literally only one product that I put in that area and it's Restylane L, OG Restylane, the very

first.

Right, the OG Restylane is great for that.

It is very, very minimally hydrophilic.

There's a newer product called, out there called word density.

First, we started off with collagen way back 20-something years ago.

And then the first PHA on the market was called Restylane.

And now Restylane has a bunch of different products in their portfolio.

Juvederm has a bunch of different products in their portfolio.

There's now Evelisse.

That's how I first got started looking at products that were skin c- skincare routines for facial redness for diseases like rosacea or psoriasis, and then was part of an acquisition to a company called BioForm Medical that was just launching at that time, one of the very first, uh, dermal fillers.

So if you've ever heard of Restylane or Juvederm or, uh, hyaluronic acids, those types of things that people are injecting into their faces to help them, help, help them make look younger, um, restore tissue volume that we'll talk about today, um, I've been doing that now for twenty-five, twenty-five years roughly.

So, um, it's-- what's interesting about this space is there really hasn't been a lot of innovation in the science or the products since these materials were originally introduced in around, you know, two thousand and six timeframe.

So it kind of is old technology.

Um, there are other, uh, products on the market called dermal fillers, and there's really two categories.

One is, um, called hyaluronic acid.

These are products like Juvederm, Restylane.

You know, you, I'm sure your p- your, uh, audience has heard of these before.

Galderma reported their first half of 2026 that their injectables business grew double digits, 13%.

That does include Restylane products and as well their Sculptra, which had double-digit growth.

I mean, the demand is definitely there.
