WVU needs a SPARK—and help could be on the way! Former Georgia defensive back Jacorey Thomas and former Utah running back Naquari Rogers give Rich Rodriguez two intriguing options as West Virginia…
Jackson JohnsonGuestA- and here's the thing, you know, I think everybody's talking about what West Virginia needs to fix, and there is plenty, but just, let's just not overlook the good things as well because I think there are a lot of good things to talk about.
And whether people want to, you know, admit that or not, I guess is up to them.
I, I understand, like, some people have, you know, different narratives they kinda wanna go with, with this, how this is all going right now.
I would say that, you know, things are going overall, though, much better than it was [chuckles] last year right around this time.
[laughs] So, you know, just, just for, just as a kind of a, a, a, um, a, uh, appetizer to this.
So who are these guys? You know, where did they come from? What have they accomplished in their careers already? And, and most importantly, how can they help this West Virginia football team? Because it's already a month into the season.
This is insane we're adding two Power Four transfers a month into the season.
Putting a new name on the roster is one thing, but putting somebody on the field who makes your team better is another thing, right? I think both of these fall into the latter category.
Um, so Jacori Thomas, obviously, you know, six feet, 205 pounds, can run, can really do everything.

Um, you know, he, he's like another Kamari Wilson perhaps, except with a little bit better coverage ability.
