Roger and Sarah explain why studio monitors are a must-have for serious creators. Hear the details and catch editing mistakes in your audio and video mixes that headphones might miss! Starring Sarah…
So one of the things that as you do deal with as a creator is you deal with a lot of audio, right? You have a monitor for video.
So when you do, say, a Premiere edit, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve or whatever...
And you oftentimes want to get a monitor that can give you the best reproduction.
So when you're editing a video of, say, your vacation to Rio and you're making a travel log, you want to make sure that the colors and stuff are kind of true to what you saw and not like slightly different.
It should be blue, but slightly blue-green on the monitor, so it gives you a distorted view.
And anyone who's watching this will realize that Sarah and I are both wearing headphones.
Oftentimes, when you go into either an edit bay or maybe a recording studio, you'll see a very similar device to this.
