This is gonna be the last time we talk about Marvel on the podcast.
Or at least for this Marvel set.
You know, apparently there's like four more in the works or whatever.
But, uh, for this particular brand of Marvel set, this is gonna be the last episode.
We're sending it off today.
Uh, I'm sure a lot of people are saying good riddance [laughs] to that.
And, you know, I don't entirely disagree.
This was not the best format in my personal opinion.
This is, uh...
You know, we're gonna go deep, do a bit of a retrospective on, uh, what this format was and how it developed and all that.
But I think some words need to be said about this one.
You know, I send some real kinda like digging in, what went wrong here, autopsy kind of analysis.
And, uh, this is not gonna be like a big old hate fest or anything like that.
I just think that there are a lot of not so great things about this format that warrant some discussion.
So we're gonna talk about all that.
And of course, just like I've done for previous retrospective episodes, we're also going to revisit the set review a little bit.
Talk about some cards that we missed on, cards that we overrated, underrated.
Kinda just, uh, you know, this is a good way of honing everybody's card evaluation skills and of course keeping the set reviews honest.
Can't just have them spewing out nonsense about cards and, uh, you know, never double checking their work on them.
So yeah, all of that today.
