And like I said, this feels really... important right now.
I can't necessarily tell you why.
I don't know what's in the air.
I don't know what's in the water.
I don't know what's going on astrologically.
All I can say is that I can feel when people are with me and they're withdrawn or depressed or they're not here and it's painful and it's sad and it's something that I have a long history with and I've talked about my battles with anxiety and depression and in episodes and throughout so if you listen to all of my content and things like that you probably already have a good idea of what i've navigated but you know i come from a line of of women that were depressed and i grew up very depressed and it was just like this overwhelming sadness this overwhelming constant grief that didn't necessarily have anything to connect it to um just an emptiness i felt like you know I was having an existential crisis for the majority of my life.
And as I started educating and learning and doing these therapies, I have a completely different relationship with these emotions, such as depression and anxiety.
And it doesn't mean that I don't still have blue days.
I do.
I fully do.
I have days where I just feel defeated or down or, you know, even yesterday, I just kind of felt like a little like, and see it uncomfortable and I didn't know why.
I was ready to blow up my entire life.
I'm texting my partner like, should we burn it down and go do this in the woods? Just kind of having one of those escape days because I don't know why.
But what's different now versus how I've lived most of my life is it comes in a wave and it passes and it passes quickly and even when i'm in that wave i'm still anchored like i through my toughest days now still have an anchor that i haven't had my entire life that completely changes my relationship with the emotions when I am blue, when I am down, when life feels overwhelming, when it feels like existential dread or, you know, just an existential and everything sucks.
I just I have nothing left in the tank.
It's just it's it's different now.
It doesn't cut as deep.
It doesn't last as long.
It feels like like literally a wave where before, you know, it would be down for a hours, weeks, days, months.
I was in such a constant funk.
That was my default, where now I visit the funk every once in a while, but the funk doesn't stay.
And it kind of just reminds me of like, wow, you used to live like this every day.
How blessed and grateful you can be that most of your moods now are high or neutral and you don't live in the muck anymore.
And when people come into my life and they are still living in that kind of depressive state, I feel for them.
I know and I can see it doesn't have to be the reality.
