And I think what is coming now is a – It's the end of a 110-year experiment and really a game that's been played with fiat currencies and varying asset prices at will and issuing debt at will and consuming beyond our means at will.
I think, you know, the old, what they call a multipolar world, but I would call it a fragmented world is going to be coming.
And I don't think there's going to be any one dominant player that comes out of this.
But I think things are going to become very real, both in terms of the consequences that we face and the value of real assets being recognized globally in lieu of holding these promissory contracts, which have... been used to set prices and to act as a proxy for the asset prices and the values on these assets for a short period of time.
So I think that everything is going to come down to, you know, physical possession and securing physical supplies as the There's going to be disruptions in the supply chains globally as there's various currency crises are going to come about.
They're selling assets now trying to buy in to maintain the value with that currency.
You know, that has not ever been shown as a sustainable way to deal with these things.
You can only affect the price trend and the price itself of a currency for a short period of time.
Yeah, it's going to be a very different world in the coming months from the one that we have today.
And yeah, I think we're weeks away at the most from a reset of the oil price to start with.
And that's going to have, you're going to see the knock-on consequences of that into the markets globally
When you say a reset of the oil price, do you have any thoughts on what that might look like? We had oil over $100 a barrel a few weeks ago as the Iran war was really kicking off and all.
